It is the first low-top basketball shoe that combines a full leather upper with a rubber toe. Superstar was originally a low-top version of the high-top basketball shoe Pro Model, but it is well known for its unique and eye-catching rubber toe shape and is vividly called “shelltoe”. In the 1970s, nearly 3/4 of NBA players used this pair of Superstar as a court shoe in the American professional basketball court.
